IN-STATE PA TITLE TRANSFER

When selling a vehicle, the seller must sign and handprint their name on the title. The buyers name and address must be listed. The sellers signature is required to be notarized. If the title is not properly notarized, it cannot be transferred and the buyer cannot register it.

Buyer(s) Must Bring:

Valid ID of everyone to be listed on the title.(if address is not current, you must have a yellow change of address card issued by PennDOT)
Current Insurance Card
Plate & Registration(if transferring a license plate currently owned by you)
If there is a lien on the vehicle, we must have and Encumbrance Letter from the bank

Seller(s) Must Bring:

Original PA Title
Valid ID of everyone listed on the front of the title
Bill of Sale (cannot be handwritten) An acceptable bill of sale includes:
- Seller's name, signature & address
- Buyer's name, signature & address
- Vehicle Identification Number(VIN)
- Year, Make & Model
- Exact Mileage
- Date of Sale
- Purchase Price
